Charger Connect Member Selection for 2024-2025 

Thank you for your interest in learning more about Charger Connect at Southeastern Baptist College! Charger Connect is chosen competitively each fall through a two round selection process conducted by the Dean of Students and the selection committee. Charge Connect carries with it a $500 leadership scholarship.

The Charger Connect is a student recruitment organization for Southeastern College. Members will assist in the recruitment of prospective students and serve as ambassadors for the college.

The Charger Connect members are required to meet the following criteria:

• Serve in a vital role as an ambassador and advocate for Southeastern Baptist College.
• Maintain a minimum of 12 hours per semester and a 2.5 or better GPA.
• Ability to work 3 hours per week in Enrollment and Recruiting Services. Additional hours may be required for campus events during a week.
• Participate in activities that occur not only during the day, but also at night or during the weekend. Work is not an acceptable excuse for lack of participation in scheduled activities.
• Willingness to learn about Southeastern and become informed about our campus and keep up with current information about our growth and development.
• Participate in direct and indirect communication campaigns which include phone and written communications to recruit or help gather information for prospective students.
• Maintain appropriate dress code while working assigned hours. Name badge must be worn at certain events and is part of dress code. A polo will be provided to you if you are selected for Charger Connect. Polos must be worn when conducting campus tours. Dressy casual attire must be worn when working assigned hours in Enrollment and Recruiting Services.

Requirements to be considered for Charger Connect include the following:

• One Page Essay addressing why are you interested in being part of the Connect; what specific qualities / experience you have that make you an ideal candidate; and why you wish to share your Southeastern story to help recruit future students for SBC.
• Professional Resume (Extracurricular Activities, Honors & Awards, Leadership Experience, Cumulative GPA (min 2.5)
• Recent Photo ( attach to the top right corner of application )

Deadline to complete all paperwork requirements is Monday, August 26th at 3:00 p.m. 

Applications and all required documents must be turned in to LaNita Porter in the main office.
